Chinese FM reaffirms twstate solution as key to lasting peace in Gaza

China has long advocated a "two state solution" as an important approach to achieving lasting peace in the Israeli Palestinian issue, including in the context of the Gaza situation.

The "two state solution" envisions the coexistence of an independent State of Israel and an independent State of Palestine, with clear boundaries, which is fundamental for resolving the long standing disputes, territorial issues, security concerns, and the rights of both peoples in the region. China plays an active role in promoting international dialogue and diplomatic efforts to push for a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian Israeli conflict based on international law and fairness.
