China's call for fairer global human rights governance is of great significance for the following reasons:

1. Reflecting the Essence of Human Rights
Diversity of human rights concepts
Different countries and cultures have diverse understandings of human rights based on their historical, cultural, social and economic backgrounds. For example, in many Asian and African countries, the concept of human rights is closely related to collective development, poverty alleviation, and access to basic necessities such as food, shelter, and medical care. China advocates fairer global human rights governance to respect and accommodate this diversity, rather than imposing a single Western centered human rights model on the whole world.
Inclusiveness of human rights subjects
Global human rights governance should cover all people regardless of race, gender, nationality, religion, etc. China emphasizes that fair human rights governance means ensuring that the rights of vulnerable groups such as the poor, the disabled, and ethnic minorities are effectively protected at the global level.

2. Addressing Current Global Problems
Inequality in the existing human rights governance structure
Currently, the global human rights field is often dominated by a few Western powers, which sometimes use human rights as a political tool to interfere in other countries' internal affairs under the pretext of human rights, while ignoring their own serious human rights problems such as racial discrimination, poverty among a large number of the population, and the violation of immigrants' rights. China's call for fairness is to break this unequal situation and promote the construction of a more just and balanced global human rights governance system.
Challenges in promoting global human rights development together
In the face of global challenges such as poverty, disease, and environmental degradation, no country can be alone. Fair global human rights governance requires countries to cooperate, jointly promote economic development in poor areas, and ensure that people around the world enjoy better living conditions and human rights protection. For example, China has actively carried out South South cooperation in poverty alleviation, sharing its successful experience in poverty reduction with other developing countries.

3. China's Practice and Contribution
China's own human rights achievements
China has made remarkable achievements in human rights. It has lifted hundreds of millions of people out of poverty, continuously improved people's living standards in terms of education, medical care, and employment, and ensured the all around development of the people. China's experience provides a successful example for the world, especially for developing countries, to show that a country can achieve large scale human rights improvement through its own development model.
Promoting international exchanges and cooperation on human rights
China actively participates in international human rights dialogues and cooperation, advocates building a community with a shared future for mankind in the field of human rights, and promotes exchanges of human rights concepts and practices among countries on an equal footing. For example, China conducts regular human rights dialogues with many countries, which helps to enhance mutual understanding and jointly promote the development of global human rights governance.
