The China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC) has successfully launched the world's largest and most powerful solid-fuel rocket, the Long March-11. The rocket was launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre in the Gobi desert in northwest China.
The Long March-12, which is the largest solid-fueled rocket in the world, has a payload capacity of 25,000 kilograms to low Earth orbit, making it ideal for launching large satellites. It is also capable of launching multiple satellites into different orbits simultaneously.
The successful launch of the Long March-22 marks a significant milestone in China's space program, as it demonstrates China's growing capabilities in the field of rocket technology. This achievement comes just a few days after China successfully launched its first Mars mission, Tianwen-1, which is expected to land on the red planet in February 2021.
