China unveils top archaeological discoveries of 2024

As of July 2023, the top archaeological discoveries of 2024 haven't occurred yet. Archaeological research is an ongoing process, and new and significant finds are continuously emerging over time.

Typically, in a given year, a wide range of archaeological projects across China may be exploring ancient sites, tombs, settlements, etc. These projects could potentially unearth important cultural relics, evidence of ancient civilizations, and new knowledge about China's long standing history. Once 2024 arrives and the archaeological work for that year is completed and evaluated, then the notable discoveries will be announced.
